While I was perusing the ‘net I found an interesting resume. The Software Developer had created ‘fraud detection software’ for WorldCom. Maybe they should have used it on their own company.
Senior Systems Analyst
Contract position at WorldCom designing and implementing a call record monitoring and fraud detection system. C++ core (over 265,000 lines of code), CLIPS rule-based engine and AI modules for implementation-specific record analysis, scaling to handle feeds of several million records per day. Currently deployed at telecoms in the United States, Canada and Brazil, saves WorldCom millions of dollars annually.
