Kingston, ON - Avril Lavigne’s heart-felt song, “I’m With You", has been selected as the first song to fill the skies over Toronto, Canada in an upcoming acoustic magic show developed by Reichen Minogue of IMXLabs.com. Dubbed as the “show to end all shows", Minogue prepares the Canadian population for a “grand event” which will “dazzle humanity".

“The concept is a magical performance unlike any other prior magic-based stage production. Using advances in acoustic broadcasting and quantum sonic mechanics, we have eliminated the need for speakers outright. Music will literally engulf the entire greater Toronto area leaving no space void of Avril Lavigne’s voice. Her song will be heard in the middle of the night by no less than five million people during a single daily broadcast to be repeated over fourteen subsequent days", he stated during a recent telephone interview.

The show has been titled as ‘The Gabriel’s Trumpet Project’ and is currently still within pre-production in Cairo, Egypt by Artist Group Agency (AGA) and Reichen Group Corp (RGC).

Yup, the naked trucker is back!

Outside Largo, they’re lined up, as usual, waiting to see singer-songwriter Jon Brion (NT). His weekly musical free-for-alls are now in the fifth year of a room-filling run on Friday nights. Despite the obvious—that the place hasn’t yet opened—several people ignore the queue and try the door.

Rather than mocking newcomers, as some in-crowds might do, the regulars explain the drill: Dinner reservations? Stand to the left of the black door. Seeking a spot in the limited standing room in the 120-capacity space? Join the longer line to the right.

We all may have owned or at least toyed with a Kurzweill keyboard at one time or another. I used one on one of my first records actually. Some people may not know that Kurzweill has also written some amazing books, like “The Age of Spiritual Machines". The concept of the book is that eventually computers exceed human intelligence. Which to most readers, does not seem possible, at least in our time. But through a series of essays and eventually the future time line, he does prove his point (at least in my non-Luddite mind).

I’m not sure where the guy comes up with this stuff. He’s either a genius or totally INSANE. His new book is even more bizarre, it’s titled “The Singularity is Near". a quote from the website:
‘"The Singularity” is a phrase borrowed from the astrophysics of black holes. The phrase has varied meanings; as used by Vernor Vinge and Raymond Kurzweil, it refers to the idea that accelerating technology will lead to superhuman machine intelligence that will soon exceed human intelligence, probably by the year 2030. The results on the other side of the “event horizon,” they say, are unpredictable. We’ll try anyway.’
